Brief: Stop animals used for clothing

PETA BLOCK

People hate advertising.

So much so that nearly half of young people use ad blockers to escape them.

Indications say they rather not wear animals either. One survey states that 95% want more vegan clothing options and another that 60% are willing to pay more for it. But they’re still forced to browse through items they don’t want. With shopping moving online however, this is an easy fix – we simply take them away.

Peta Block is a browser extension that removes animal-based clothing from online stores.

Using javascript it detects animal materials in item descriptions provided by retailers and removes them before you ever have to see them, making it easy to shop cruelty-free.

The campaign talks about how most clothes are vegan already, while using data to poke at retailers. Stressing that most clothes never had a mother or siblings. Never felt pain, fear or love and that a simple click can filter out all those who once did.

Giving people an opportunity to make a big difference with minimal effort.

Helping you to never buy an animal online again.
