Eclipse

In 2021, Chimi asked us to find them a new collaboration.
 Previously they have made snorkels and ski goggles to explore different environments,
as well as a line with astronaut Christer Fuglesang.

Solar eclipses have always fascinated and frightened humans. In China, it was believed to be caused by dragons trying to consume the sun, signaling to the emperor that he best be wary of his throne. When the Prophet Muhammed ﷺ witnessed one in 632, he said it was not a bad omen, but a great cosmic spectacle.

On the 8th of April 2024 at exactly 18:18; the sun and the moon will once again align in perfect symmetry. Blocking out the sun completely in the Mexican desert to create a brief moment of totality. This time Chimi wants you to see it through great lenses.
